We are absolutely delighted to announce that Tain Gala Association’s application for charitable status has been successful!
We are now officially a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), and our Scottish charity number is SC055698.
This is a huge milestone for the Gala and follows a great deal of work behind the scenes. Becoming a registered charity doesn’t change the heart of who we are or what Tain Gala has always been about—it gives us a stronger foundation on which to build for the future.
Our new status will help us access more funding opportunities, develop new community activities and projects, and protect the future of the Gala for years to come.
We would like to thank all our past and present committee members, volunteers, local businesses, supporters and everyone in the community who continues to support what we do. Tain Gala Association simply wouldn’t be what it is without you all.
We’re incredibly proud of how the Gala continues to grow, and we’re excited to see where this next chapter takes us!
